Arts Alive In Seminole!
The Foundation supports the district’s commitment to providing arts education to every student through Arts Alive in Seminole! Funds raised through the event provide students and programs with new instruments, art materials, equipment and sheet music. Proceeds also cover the costs of association dues for thespian and music programs, sponsor events such as dance, band and chorus festivals, as well as provide funding for special classroom projects.
Auditions for the 20th Annual Arts Alive in Seminole! are open to students and employees of Seminole County Public Schools. We are looking for singers, dancers, instrumentalists and entertainers! Soloists and groups welcome. Auditions are held from 3 - 8 PM: Monday, October 10th at Winter Springs High School Tuesday, October 11th at Seminole High School.
If selected, you will perform at the main event on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at The Westin Lake Mary and must be available for the dress rehearsal on Friday, November 11 between 3-8 PM.

The Dr. Philip's Center Teen Ambassador Program
The Teen Ambassadors are a vibrant group of teenagers that have unique leadership opportunities through their participation. In monthly meetings, the Teen Ambassadors learn about the nonprofit business model and discover a variety of careers in the arts. They get behind the scenes opportunities as well as access to performances, mater classes, workshops and community engagement.

They contribute ideas and work to develop and promote their ideas, often taking over the arts center’s social media channels and creating their own promotional materials.
Application deadline is Monday, September 19, 2016 no later than 5:00 p.m.
